A Cluster Frame Freebie!

I participated in a scraplift challenge over at MouseScrappers and decided to make a Jungle Cruise layout using the I Dream of Africa kit available over at Keystone Scraps.  It's really a beautiful kit with so many possibilities.  Here's the layout I created:

I liked the cluster frame that I made so much that I decided to snag it right off the layout (isn't Photoshop great?!) and offer it to you as a freebie.  Just click the image to download.

I hope you like it.  It was a lot of fun to make.  Now I'm off to do some more scrapping!

When a song gets stuck...

So, today I have had the song "Someday My Prince Will Come" from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stuck in my head.  I just keep hearing it over and over and over... it's making me nuts!  I decided that I would try scrapping it.  I figured that if I thought about it creatively and typed out the lyrics, that would help get the song out of my head.  Well... it DIDN'T WORK!  I do love the layout though!

I used the kit Sweetest Spring by Keystone Scraps to create the layout.  I adore the soft colors and the great mix of elements.  It's such a pretty and versatile kit.

Well, I'm off to bed now.  Hopefully, I won't dream about Happy, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc, and Dopey...  or witches and poisoned apples for that matter.  But I don't think I'd complain about Prince Charming!

A New CT for Me!

It's been a long time since I've done CT work, but I felt like it was something I wanted to do again. So when I saw a call for Keystone Scraps, I just felt like that would be a good fit. If you've never heard of it, Keystone Scraps is actually a partnership between two designers, Melissa and Paula. They are great people who create fun designs, and they're Disney addicts like me! Now is that a great fit, or what? Anyway, I am so EXCITED to be a part of their CT and can't wait to start scrapping for them. They have a new kit coming out on Wednesday. You can see the preview on their blog. They also have a really adorable kit called Mouse Moments, which is available now in their store. Keep checking back for some LOs from me using these kits. And now, before I hit the hay for the night, I'm off to scrap life, one dream at a time!

Makeovers and Mouse Heads...

Now that's a seriously strange title for a blog post! But that's really what this is all about. I did a layout last night for an April Matter of Scrap Challenge over at ScrapMatters. It was the Extreme Makeover Challenge where you take an old layout (maybe from your early digi days when you were still learning and developing your craft and skills), and redo it. I chose to redo a layout of a photo taken by the overpass you go under from Magic Kingdom Parking to the Ticket and Transportation Center at Walt Disney World. I won't bother putting up the original layout because... well... ugh! But here's my redo using The Magic in You and Mostly Magic Alphas, both by Band Geek Designs at ScrapMatters.

Well, I wanted a wire Mickey head for my layout to go with the other wire elements, so I made myself one. Of course, Mickey is awfully lonely without Minnie, so I made a Minnie head to keep him company (not on the layout though). I'm offering my His N' Hers Mouse Heads to you as a little freebie for visiting my happy home here on the web.

You can download it here.

Well, thanks for visiting and remember, keep scrapping life, one dream at a time!
